About this role

We are recruiting for an Electrical Planner to join our Project Planning Services team. Here's how your role will strengthen our team. This position is a great opportunity for those with a background in electrical construction.

Your responsibilities

• Produce installation drawings for field teams to allow for efficient install of electrical systems on a project
• Interpret construction drawings including electrical, architectural, mechanical and structural
• Work in an office environment and utilize computer programs to efficiently produce the installation drawings

Your experiences and skills

• Must be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or journey electrician with red seal ticket
• Must have a minimum 4-5 years of field experience with:
  • Conduit Bending & Racking
  • Wire Installation
  • Distribution installation is an asset
• High attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Willing to learn or re-learn methods of planning
• Good communication skills
• Passionate about research & fine detailing within the planning scope
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Adaptable, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Should enjoy working with computers and be literate with
  • Outlook
  • Bluebeam
  • AutoCAD
  • File Navigation
• Solid understanding of the CEC
